Understanding The Buldiva Dashboard

3 min read

The Buldiva Dashboard is the main control center for your theme. From here, you can access setup tools, open the template builder, manage theme settings, and quickly reach the documentation.

After activating your Buldiva license, you will see three main sections inside the Buldiva Dashboard:

  • Dashboard
  • Template Builder
  • Theme Settings

Each section is designed to help you customize and manage your website without editing theme files manually.

Dashboard Tab #

The Dashboard tab is the first screen you will see after activating Buldiva.

This page provides quick access to the most important tools and setup steps.

Inside the Dashboard tab, you will find:

  • Welcome message
  • Documentation button
  • Setup Wizard shortcut
  • Theme Customizer shortcut
  • Template Builder shortcut
  • Theme Settings shortcut

The Setup Wizard allows you to import demo content and quickly create a complete website.

The Basic Theme Customizer opens the standard WordPress customizer where you can change:

  • Header
  • Footer
  • Logo
  • Colors
  • Typography
  • Other theme appearance settings

The Manage Template Builders card opens the template management area where you can edit headers, footers, archive templates, and more.

The Manage Theme Settings card opens the advanced theme options panel.

Template Builder Tab #

The Template Builder gives you complete control over the structure of your website.

Inside this area, you can create and manage templates for different parts of your site using your page builder.

Available template types include:

  • Header
  • Footer
  • Single Post
  • Single Service
  • Archive
  • Search Result
  • Mega Menu
  • Loop
  • Popup
  • Block Components

For example:

  • Header template controls the top navigation area
  • Footer template controls the bottom section of your website
  • Single templates control how individual posts or services appear
  • Archive templates control category, search, and blog listing pages

To create a new template:

  • Open Buldiva → Template Builder
  • Click Add New Template
  • Select the template type
  • Edit the template using Elementor or your selected builder
  • Publish the template

You can also filter templates by category using the tabs at the top of the page.

Theme Settings Tab #

The Theme Settings tab contains advanced options for styling and functionality.

This section allows you to control:

  • Global Colors
  • Typography
  • Element Styles
  • Custom Post Type Settings
  • Template Builder Settings
  • Backup Options

The left sidebar contains different groups of settings.

Common sections include:

Styling Settings #

Configure global colors and typography settings for your entire website.

Elements Style #

Customize buttons, headings, forms, icons, and other design elements.

Custom Post Type Settings #

Manage the appearance and behavior of custom content such as:

  • Services
  • Projects
  • Team Members
  • Testimonials

Template Builder Settings #

Configure how your custom templates work across the website.

Backup #

Save or restore your theme settings if you want to keep a backup before making changes.

Saving Your Changes #

After making any changes inside Theme Settings, click the Save button in the top right corner.

You can also use:

  • Reset Section — resets only the current section
  • Reset All — restores all theme settings to default

Be careful when using Reset All because it cannot be undone.

Recommended Workflow #

To get the best results, we recommend using the Buldiva Dashboard in this order:

  • Open Setup Wizard and import your demo
  • Configure colors and typography in Theme Settings
  • Edit header and footer in Template Builder
  • Replace demo content with your own text and images
  • Save and review your website

Following this workflow will help you set up your Buldiva website faster and avoid configuration issues.
